We are pretty horrible at this website stuff - when there is a garden to tend, it is hard to sit down at a computer! As afar as the garden goes, this season has been pretty good. We have a family of great CSA customers and have been able to provide them with bountiful shares each week.

New on the farm this summer are our bee hives. We have two hives and hope to be producing enough honey to add to CSAs and sell next year. The trick will be keeping them alive this winter! Although we are on a CSA break, we have been busy planting new fall crops. making jelly, preserving vegetables, and playing with cows. Life never slows down here! 

I hope to be blogging here a little bit more - it is a fun way to communicate. We will share some of our favorite recipes and pictures of what is happeneing here on the farm!
